Eucatex Group was built up in 1951 as the producer and marketer of insulation and liners that are produced using eucalyptus wood fibers. Presently, the organization is serving furniture makers in addition to big industrial construction firms. Eucatex is operated in two segments. The first one is the construction industry and in the segment, the company generates laminate floors, doors, modular partitions and paints. The other one is the furniture industry, through which the organization becomes the biggest producer of Tamburato, MDP and wood fiber plates.
Flavio Maluf joined the privately-owned company in 1987 where he operated within the trade department. He is currently the President of Eucatex Group. Maluf worked in the trade session for nearly a decade before shifting his activities to industrial session in 1996. Around the same time, Mr. Maluf became part of the frame executives following his invite by his uncle whom during the time filled the position of President in Eucatex. After a year, a family endorsement promoted him to become the Company’s President.
After she became the President, Flavio Maluf began modernizing the organization. He initiated the organization’s venture by opening branches crosswise over Brazil and selling its commodities to nearly 37 countries over the world. The exports have contributed to the organization’s development as it is obvious on the benefits made and the development in its items’ market. For instance, in 2014, Eucatex had acquired profits of R$ 10.7 whereby the Eucatex products’ market ascended by 30%.
In 2010, the organization started an industrial plant in Salto, Sao Paulo state to generate T-HDF/MDF – Thin High-Density Fiberboard & Medium Density Fiberboard. The company possesses a recycling plant that handles wood residue. Within the plant, Eucatex eradicates throwing away wood residue on landfills thus minimizing environment pollution.
Eucatex is perceived for delivering environmentally friendly commodities. Therefore, it has gotten different certifications, for example, ISO 14001 and FSC® Certification. The FSC® Certification is evidence of Eucatex commitments to taking care of the environment and careful handling of items used in manufacturing products. While the ISO 14001 accreditation recognizes organizations that consent with standards of promoting and protecting environment.
