Mike Baur and the Swiss Startup Factory (SSUF) are two popular companies in Switzerland. Mike Baur is the founder and the managing partner of Swiss Startup Factory. Taub still remembers when he presented his resume to the queen. He was convinced that he was the best man for the job. Being a staunch Jew and having lived and worked in England gave him the best perspective about both countries.

Therefore, he was even willing to lose his citizenship to a country where his ancestors had immigrated to. Instead of being negative about this, he stated that going back to Israeli gave him an opportunity to expose his children to the rich culture of Jews.

Being very passionate about Israel is one thing that made him an outstanding ambassador. And, even when he was exiting his seat, he still talked of how Israel and Britain could benefit if they fostered a relationship.

His argument is that if Jews have positions in diaspora and within, then it is a win for the country. He also advised for the Labor Parties of both countries to work together. This is because he had noted that they had so much in common and by collaborating, both sides would emerge stronger.

Other than his presentation, Taub was appointed for the ambassador position due to his education qualifications. He is a graduate of University College, Oxford. Also, he holds a degree from University College, London and the renowned Harvard University.

In the year 1989, Taub had moved back, to his motherland, to work in the army. Initially he worked as a combat medic in the Israel Military Forces. This was before President Chim Herzog appointed him to work as his personal speechwriter.

Three years after being in the country, he joined the Israeli foreign ministry. During his tenure in the ministry, he held a number of positions including diplomatic, political and legal posts.

During his time working in the Israeli foreign ministry, he is known to have played a very large role in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. Also, he was involved in the Israel-Syrian negotiations. Additionally, he negotiated the entry of Magen David Adom into the International Red cross Community.

Bruce Levenson endured many ups and downs during his times with the Atlanta Hawks. He was the principal partner of the team’s ownership group. Legal matters had only begun as far as UCG founder Bruce Levenson was concerned. The case brought by Danny Ferry, who was the team’s former general manager, triggered an insurance policy that the Atlanta Hawks Basketball and Entertainment Group had with AIG. AHBE entered into the legal proceedings with Ferry believing that there expenses would be covered by the policy they had with their insurance company. The former ownership group claims that a AIG was never involved in any aspect of the proceedings. They also assert that the insurance company has refused to acknowledge that the policy was activated due to the negotiation process. Levenson,, contends that AIG acted in bad faith. The nature of AHBA’s negotiating position was predicated on the fact that they were insured throughout the process. The team ended up settling with the former GM and paid out millions of dollars.

There has been no response from the insurance company. The current ownership group led by Tony Ressler has not been implicated in any level of the proceedings involving the lawsuit. Levenson is looking to recoup money that was spent throughout the complicated transaction that led to the multimillion-dollar settlement.

James Dondero’s input to the support of violence victim families

On 7th October 2016, during 21st Annual Texas Trailblazer Awards of the Family Place Luncheon which was held at Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, Mr. James Dondero announced a $1 million award as a challenge grant to help the Family place raise $2.8 million for its six months Legacy Campaign . The Family Place is one of the most prominent organization in Della that supports the family violence victims.

The Family Place campaign will help to establish a new Central Dallas Counselling for the violence victim families in honor of Ann Moody. The designed Ann Moody Place comprise of 13 emergency shelter bedrooms, centralized call center, clinics and counseling rooms for all children and adults. More than 2000 victims will be served by the buildings. The announced grant was to be administered through Highland Dallas Foundation, Inc.
